ICCCF 2.0
The 2nd International Children and Culture Festival was held in Abuja from September 25 to 27, 2025, staged by the Female Artists Association of Nigeria (FEAAN) in collaboration with UFUK Dialogue Foundation.
The festival set out to bring out the creativity of school-age children and to let creativity meet sport. Seventy students registered on the first day, joined by nominees from across Nigeria through the online portal.
The finalists were selected by credible juries of arts and culture in Nigeria, proof that the Nigerian child is ready to explore their artistic potential in any medium and compete beautifully with their peers all over the world.
Day 01
Arrival & the arts village
Arrival and registration of participants opened the festival, and the arts village got straight to work: a painting workshop, a ceramic workshop, and adire and ceramic pieces coming out of the village by the end of the day.
Day 02
Painting competition & cultural performances
Eighty young painters answered the theme My Favorite Sport at Nigerian Tulip College, and ten outstanding works were selected for further recognition. Across town, the cultural dance competition filled the amphitheatre at the NCAC Arts and Craft Village, Abuja.
Day 03
Grand finale & awards
All winners received awards and every participant received a certificate. High Grade International School and Nigerian Tulip International College delivered cultural dances, Mohammed Alamin performed spoken word, Mojiola Odukoya played the violin, and Book Buddies brought a side attraction with children from the IDP camp, Abuja. Two hundred guests filled the finale.
A resounding success, with broad participation and enthusiastic engagement from children, teachers and parents.
Enhanced creativity, teamwork and cultural appreciation among the participating children.
Effective collaboration with multiple schools, with the online registration platform enabling wider national participation.
Ten outstanding paintings selected for further recognition from a field of eighty.
A strong foundation for an expanded 2026 edition: ICCCF 3.0.

Gosifenna Okoro, 13, a student of Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), Abuja, took first place among the eighty young painters who answered the theme My Favorite Sport, her work one of the ten selected for special recognition.
